Wharton Global High School Investment Competition

The Wharton Global High School Investment Competition is a dynamic, experiential learning opportunity that introduces high school students to the world of investment. Guided by a teacher advisor, teams of four to seven students work together to develop an investment strategy, analyze industries and companies, and build a portfolio using $100,000 in virtual cash. The competition focuses on strategy, teamwork, communication, risk, and diversification, rather than portfolio growth. Finalists present their strategies at the Global Finale in Philadelphia, offering a unique chance to compete internationally. This free competition is an excellent way for students to gain practical finance skills and enhance their resumes for college and scholarship applications.
