The RISE Internship/Practicum at Boston University is a 6-week summer program designed for high school juniors interested in the sciences. Participants can choose between an Internship track, offering hands-on research projects in various scientific fields under the mentorship of faculty and graduate students, or a Practicum track, focused on computational neurobiology with group research and lectures. Both tracks include workshops to build academic and professional skills, and the program culminates in a Poster Symposium where students present their research findings. This immersive experience aims to advance STEM knowledge and skills, offering a glimpse into university laboratory research.
