The Summer Science Academy at Emory School of Medicine is a day program designed for incoming 9th and 10th grade students with a passion for sciences, including biology, healthcare, medicine, or related STEM fields. The program offers hands-on learning in natural science, biotechnology, engineering and math, medical and science research, and health and science careers exploration. It will be held in-person on the Emory University main campus with three session options in June and July 2024. The program aims to provide students from traditionally underrepresented minority backgrounds the opportunity to develop a better understanding and appreciation of science in a motivating and fun educational environment. The registration fee is $1,000, with a required $300 deposit to secure a space.
