The Summer Science Academy at Emory School of Medicine is a day program designed for incoming 9th and 10th grade students with a passion for sciences, including biology, healthcare, medicine, or related STEM fields. The program offers hands-on learning in natural science, biotechnology, engineering and math, medical and science research, and health and science careers exploration. It will be held in-person on the Emory University main campus with three session options. The program aims to provide students from traditionally underrepresented minority backgrounds the opportunity to develop a better understanding and appreciation of science in a motivating and fun educational environment. The registration fee is $1,000, with a required $300 deposit to secure a space.
